Caring for your art

In order to help you care for your new art piece, I have included below some tips and tricks to ensure they last a lifetime.

Paper and canvas are porous materials and any natural oils from your hands can transfer and cause marking, so please take care when unpackaging. For longevity, I recommend professional framing of both paper and canvas prints. A framing business near you will be able to help with stretching unstretched canvas when framing.

In ensuring your art lasts a lifetime be mindful of the temperature and moisture and not hanging it in direct sunlight and. Don’t expose the art to extreme heats (a big tip is not to hang it over a fireplace or heat source). I also recommend not hanging the art in a high humidity area.

To keep your canvas clean, you can dust with a soft microfibre or feather cloth but don’t use any kind of chemical.

I am so grateful for your purchase and hope you enjoy the love and happiness it will bring for a lifetime.
