Have you ever taken the time to really see the rain falling in all its beauty? To imagine it’s journey from the clouds to the earth.
The beautiful colours that I have explored in my painting are reflective of this . From the deep dark blues when the rain begins to fall, through to the lighter colours as it passes through and falls on Country. The long shaped symbols represent the large droplets that are full and ready to burst as they cascade down to their resting place on our lands, filling our rivers and dams. This beautiful life source that we sometimes take for granted but cannot live without.
As I continue on my journey I give thanks to the rain as a sweet reminder of all the important things I cannot live without.
